Let’s make health coverage easier to understand.

Shopping for health coverage can be overwhelming. A licensed health advisor can help you determine which plans may be the best fit for you, your family, or your small business. Many medical plans can also be bundled with options like dental, vision, short-term disability, or even life insurance, to help ensure you have well-rounded benefits that cover all of your needs. If a full-term medical plan isn’t within the budget right now, you may want catastrophic protection for protection in the event of an emergency.

Available Options

  • Comprehensive health plans for yourself only. These can be more focused toward preventative coverage and catastrophic care, or can include popular benefits such as doctors visits, prescription coverage, and more.

  • Comprehensive health plans for you, your spouse, and any eligible dependents. These can be more focused toward preventative coverage and catastrophic care, or can include popular benefits such as doctors visits, prescription coverage, and more.

  • Comprehensive health plans for both you and your staff, specifically for businesses with less than 50 total employees. These can be more focused toward preventative coverage and catastrophic care, or can include popular benefits such as doctors visits, prescription coverage, and more.

  • Dental & vision coverage can be stand-alone, or they can be bundled in with a health plan to save you money

Terms to Know:

Underwritten and approval-based plans that not everyone will qualify for. These options can lead to reduced premium rates on your overall monthly cost and include dynamic benefits not available on other networks.

Underwritten Plans

  • This depends on several factors including prescription history, surgical and hospitalization records, height-to-weight ratios and more.

  • No. Since these plans do not fall under the parameters of the Affordable Care Act, you will not need to turn in proof of income.

  • There are two main types of health coverage…. those that are underwritten, and those that are not. If your application for an underwritten plan is not approved, you could explore options that will not be restricted based on preexisting conditions.

Coverage for any individual who applies for it, regardless of their current health status or pre-existing conditions.

Guaranteed To Issue Plans

  • Corporate insurance plans through a company or business, Medicare, and the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) plans are examples of plans that are not medically underwritten, and there therefore, guaranteed to issue.

  • Life gets busy and open enrollment through the government marketplace or a job can be easily missed. Luckily, there are alternate options to consider.

  • Depending on the network and benefits you choose, some plans can begin immediately. If you are looking for immediate coverage and do not have time to undergo an underwriting process, you can typically be covered the same day or next.

As a man who used to own & operate a small business himself, I remember the healthcare portion of it being the most difficult piece to navigate. I took a course to understand things from the financial side, and found a calling in helping others who are in the same boat. Healthcare shouldn’t be this difficult to understand. We are here to help. - Thomas Schatte
